Two Parcels in Mills 50 Sold

Local records show two parcels in Mills 50, including the current St. Matthew’s Tavern at the Orlando Beer Garden building, sold to Keith and Romi Mawardi. An entity related to their Team Market Group, which is based in Orlando, apparently purchased the two parcels for $1.2 million.

Mills 50 property soldThe two parcels are located at 1300 and 1302 N. Mills Avenue, at the corner of Mills Ave. and Montana St. The land totals about 0.2 acres and the building housing St. Matthew’s Tavern at the Orlando Beer Garden is included in the sale.

It does not appear the new owners seem to have any immediate plans to change operations. Of course, that could change quickly.

Together, the parcels at the northwest corner of Mills Avenue and Montana Street total about 0.2 acres and include the 2,800-square-foot building, which has hosted a number of previous bar concepts, including Paradise Bar, before it most recently became St. Matthew’s.

The Mills 50 property sold to Team Market Group from local seller Fuzzybunnyslippers LLC, which is reportedly connected to Matthew Fassl. He purchased the land a few years ago for $875,000, according to Orange County records.

Mills 50 is a Main Street America program and is centrally located, culturally diverse, progressive minded, eclectic urban district. Local business owners and residents in Mills 50 have a mission to stimulate business, creating a walkable community and promoting the local creative culture.
