Troopers have located the pickup truck that hit and seriously injured a construction worker on I-4 on Tuesday.
Christopher David Cattaneo, 23, was working within a lane closure located in the outside, eastbound lane on Interstate 4, near State Road 434, when he was struck by a hit and run driver.
Cattaneo, who is employed with Oglesby Construction Company, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
On Friday, troopers located and impounded the 2014 Red Chevy Silverado pickup that struck Cattaneo.
While troopers have spoken with the owner of the pickup, the driver who hit Cattaneo and fled the scene has not yet been identified.
The investigation is ongoing.
