Authorities said an Amtrak train hit a car in Seminole County on Wednesday night.
The crash occurred at Monroe Road and Orange Boulevard around 9:30 p.m.
Troopers said, a 2006 Chevy Impala, was attempting to turn right onto Orange Boulevard, left the roadway and got stuck on the tracks.
The driver, Joyce Piazza, 66, of Louisiana, saw the Amtrak train approaching and exited the car, along with a passenger.
The train struck the side of the Impala. No one in the train was injured.
Piazza suffered minor injuries and was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital.
FHP said that the crash remains underinvestigation and charges are pending.
