i can’t speak for two of these young men but i can for mr. peters he is a good young man and i do not believe he did this , innocent untill proven guilty , so if you were not there and do not know the facts don’t pass judgement , i am sorry for the loss of a life , and i am also saddened by the loss of three more lives as well . the children who will grow up fatherless . the mothers with out their sons , this whole thing is a tragedy .

Ishmael Peters is not as innocent as you believe he is. Judgement has been passed. He was found GULTY on all counts. He will rot in jail. You say there is a loss of three life’s, what about Joshua Gutierrez life. He will never graduate from college, never get married, never open his eyes again to see his mom, dad and brothers and never have any children. He has no more life. Ishmael Peters took that from him. So there, he deserves to rot in jail. And for his crimes he will see his family through a TV monitor, His child/children will grow up knowing their father is a MURDERER. And yes, his children will grow up with out a father. They are probably better off with out him in their lifes.

He was found guilty on all 3 counts, wow I guess the family of the deceased can find a little comfort in this.

Well it is over, al least for now, judgment day is here. Peters will rot in jail for life. He has been found guilty by a jury of his pears and sentencing is done. You say God is the only one can judge, well his time will come one day and God will judge. Remember Gods 7th commandment “Thou shalt not kill” and one day soon he will stand in front of God and he will judged for his crimes. The family of Joshua Gutierrez has closure and has the comfort of knowing that the person who killed their loved one will spend life in prison. Ishmael Peters is an innocent man!!!! Every year many American’s often get convicted for crimes they didn’t commit. Wrongful conviction usually occurs when a combination of unreliable evidence and testimony provides convincing proof of guilt. Especially in the judgment of jurors untrained in the reliability of various kinds of evidence. The key factors that ultimately lead to Ishmael’s conviction were unreliable testimony from two alleged codefendants. There was no DNA evidence, no eyewitness accounts, and the unreliable snitch evidence that ultimately lead to the horrible miscarriage of justice.

Jurors don’t have to be trained on the reliability of various kinds of evidence, they just have to rely on evidence, eyewitness accounts, facts and DNA evidence (when available) that has been presented to them by the prosecutor and court. This is our American justice system. Sometimes the justice system does not prevail but in this case it did. It was able to present a case against Peters. And for your information DNA does not always have to be present for someone to be guilty of committing a crime. Back in the days before DNA became available, criminals have been convicted on facts, eyewitness testimonies and other evidence found in crime scenes. Yes God has the final say if and when he ever gets there.

I don’t know who your God is, but my God Jesus, He answered my prayers. Why else do you think Peters is in prison. No doubt in my mind on the power of prayers. I too, will pray for you in Jesus name. Don’t feel sorry for me, I am just fine. I am able to sleep better now that justice has been done. I sleep just fine, and I write because it causes you distress. The truth does hurt. The facts are that that thug, that human killer has gotten what he deserves. Nothing you say bothers me because at the end of the day when I go to bed I know that Joshuas killer is sleeping behind bars. My conscious is at rest. I knw where I stand with God, but do you know where you stand with Him. Who knows maybe you are just like Peter’s and just have not been caught just yet. Life in prison is not enough. Peters is a cold blooded murderer and in my opinion, he did not get what he deserves, death penalty. That three more young mens lives are gone as well , i do however not believe that Ishmael did this and will continue stand behind him and to pray for him !!! Ishmael peters is the scum on the bottom of my shoe. The other two are not that bad I knew all three of them. Just to let everybody know Josh was a big time drug dealer and that’s the shit that happens when you are a drug dealer.

This is so sad a young man lost his life, I was in the court during the trial to observe and Ishmael did not do this, there was no evidence and he was not even placed at the crime scene, it is so sad the way we judge people, I don”t want to see anyone punish for a crime someone else commit and there are so many innocent men and women sentenced for a crime they did not commit, the truth always comes out and in Ishmael case he will sadly spend some time in prison waiting but he will be set free cause he is innocent. To the mother that lost her child, I lost someone also and I was pointing fingers only to find out later that I was looking at the wrong person while the true sinner was out to commit more crimes.. I pray you find peace and know that sending the wrong person to prison just to have a closure only brings more grief in the end…. I found that peace by asking Jesus to release that person and find the right one and the day it happened, I had my real peace and so sorry for I was a sinner by accusing the wrong person. I hope Joshua family find this peace, Mr Peters did not do this and that was the reason he could not tell you that he did.. Carol according to law just being there during the time of murder can render a murder charge. You can be convicted of murder without a murder weapon or a body. By the way they planned it thus the presence of means reas as well as committing it thus the presence of actus reas. So all three are considered guilty in this murder. All three should be serving life sentences according to Florida State law. Do your research and apply the law to the situation. All three parties no matter who was the trigger man is indeed guilty of murder. This was my cousin that was killed and now I study Criminal Justice. So before you say he didn’t do it, he was present at the time the crime was committed.

All that is needed to convict anyone of any crime in Criminal Court is beyond reasonable doubt. Basically for you lame-in just a slight tilt on the see-saw in one direction.
