Investigators from the Orange County Sheriffs Office (OCSO) have arrested three suspects who have been engaged in Cyber crimes.
The Economic Crimes Squad earlier today searched a location at 7120 South Orange Blossom Trail, following which Valencia Rene Hollis, 45, Domonic Jashuan Mclin, 24, and Julia Renee Kelly were arrested and charged with a scheme to defraud and the fraudulent use of credit cards.
The suspects had set up an operation involving reduced rates for theme park tickets, which they marketed and sold on Craig’s List.
The victims would purchase their items from the individuals at the Orange Blossom Trail address, who subsequently would use the victims credit card information to almost immediately make purchases.
It is not known how many persons were duped by these Cyber criminals nor the value of the purchases made.
OCSO is continuing with their investigation.
This proves why you have to be SO careful when buying theme park tickets. Only buy tickets online via an Authorized ticket broker. When buying Disney tickets, look for ‘Disney Parks USA Selected Ticket Seller’ status.
