Family Fun Day on August 15, 2009, at the Mildred Dixon Park, Winter Garden at 303 West Crown Point Road, Winter Garden, Florida 34787
Winter Garden Florida and World Outreach Community Development Corporation and WOKB are partnering to have this fun filled day.
We will be providing free backpacks, school supplies, food and fun activities and entertainment to the children that attend. We are targeting the Winter Garden area where there are impoverished children and families that so desperately need assistance in these troubling times.
Some of our major partners include: The Nielsen Company, Amway Corporation, Wal-Mart, Prestige Health Choice, Sheriff’s Department, Orlando Magic, The Don Miller Show, Embraced By Grace, Lady D Host of Caribbean Affair Gospel Connection, Nick Anderson Orlando Magic Ambassador, Winter Garden Commissioner Harold Bouler and Universal Studios. Featured Entertainment includes: Magic Mascot Stuff, The Magic Blue Crew, Faith World Singers and Larue Stewart, Javis Mays and Restoration, New Generation Steel Band, Mimes, Dancers and more than twenty entertainers.
Other events include student I.D.’s, horse back riding, bounce house, rock climbing, paint ball, pop-a-shot, dunk tank, face painting, pottery wheel and much, much more.
