Looks like Sam Ings was handily re-elected, crushing his opponent Marcus Robinson in their bid for the Orlando District 6 Commissioner post:
Here are the numbers:
City Commission, District 6
20 of 20 Precincts Reporting
5,391 ballots cast out of 16,677 eligible voters
(32.33% turnout)
Sam Ings, 3,905 72.44%
Marcus W. Robinson, 1,486 27.56%
Whoever convinced Mr. Robinson to run against Sam owes Robinson an apology. A novice, rookie and disorganized campaigner, Sam Ings saw him coming from miles away.
Maybe now, Sam Ings can get back to looking after his district, and Marcus Robinson can go back to his personal life for which he is better suited as the results of the election have spoken loudly.
