A teen escaped from police custody on Wednesday and deputies say, they are concerned for his safety.
Law enforcement said, 14-year-old Michael Shearer escaped around 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Dallas Boulevard and Oberly Parkway in east Orange County. Â The teen ran into a wooded area, deputies said.
Deputies said, Michael remains at large and they are concerned for his safety.
Deputies would not say why Michael was in custody, but released a photo of the teen. Deputies said, his hair is no longer like it is in the photograph and is now straight.
