Tampa Police detectives, still actively investigating a shooting that occurred on November 8, 2024, released video of the suspects involved, which is provided below.
The Central Florida shooting incident, which occurred just after 10:30pm near Laurel St. and Doyle Carlton Dr. in Tampa, resulted in injuries to a teenage passenger.
At this point, the
investigation has revealed that the victim and several other teenagers were traveling westbound on Laurel St. when they encountered a dark-colored sedan occupied by three males, also possibly in their teens.
A verbal altercation between the occupants of both cars escalated when the suspects in the sedan fired shots into the victim’s vehicle.
One round struck the victim. His injuries were not life-threatening.
The suspect vehicle appears to be a newer model Toyota Camry, likely dark blue. The shooter was described as a teenager with a “bowl” style haircut.
Tampa Police detectives are asking the community to take a close look at the video.
