This morning before 10:00 am, a man walked into the SunTrust Bank on 1601 South Orange Avenue, passed a note to one of the Bank’s employees and implied that he had a weapon.
The suspect, who is in his 20s, then fled on foot.
Orlando Police Department (OPD) investigators responded to the scene with a K9 tracker, but were unable to trace the path of the suspect.
OPD is continuing with its investigation.
No injuries to the Bank’s employees are being reported at this time. It is not know too, how much loot with which the robber escaped.
