Call me sassy, stuffy, snooty, snobbish, or stuck-up, but I firmly believe in the demonstrableness of class and valiantly pride myself in practicing decorum. Guess that’s why I always had a tendency in shying away from or engaging, interacting, and mingling with “stupid boys.”
To me, “stupid boys” are ignorant, obtuse, and grossly deficient in the display of social graces, etiquette, protocol, language, and style.
Basically, they are just too freaking uncouth for my taste!
So, stands to reason why I have always been attractive to boys and men who demonstrated finesse, displayed respectful manners, and projected gentlemanliness.
Lordy, would be an extra bonus if he was able to enunciate and articulate the English language properly, too.
(Laugh out loud)
Bottom-line, this classy woman detests listening to some unintelligent bozo reeking ghetto vocab. Additionally, I equally resent associating with a male who is a dimwit in the etiquette department, as well!
Unfortunately, had always assumed and often took for granted that an entry into and matriculation from a reputable college or university would have broaden “stupid boys” horizons, as well as, enhanced and stoked their sociableness.
Guess I am just showing my naiveté, but also “assumed” that by a certain age and stage most refined men would have honed key components to their unacceptable social graces.
Furthermore, hard for this college graduate and consummate professional to imagine that a robust curriculum of English plus a series of life skills courses did not properly impact, adequately prepare, or at the very least, proficiently improve one’s ability to use intelligible communication skills or positively strengthen one’s pedigree.
And, let’s not forget about a lad’s first learning laboratory which should have been home training 101 from his first teachers——which were his knowledgeable parents!
Duh!
In essence, in this day, time, and era there’s no legitimate rhyme or justifiable reason for “stupid boys” to strut, of course, stupidity!
Which brings me to exhibit one and two—the Seahawks’ Richard Sherman and Florida State’s Jameis Winston. Wouldn’t you agree with me that both of these dudes win the coveted award for behaving and speaking stupidly?
Yesiree!!!
Just between you and me, and if the truth was told, Richard’s mama should vociferously demand a tuition reimbursement from his alma mater. The Lord only knows, but I am 100% convinced that he either earned a shammed degree or he skipped every damn college class with the exception of physical education!
Likewise, Jameis, who is a newly-minted freshman, should NEVER be allowed to speak publicly until he has mastered at least one hundred English classes!
Kid, what dialect were you speaking?
Regardless, after watching Richard’s and Jameis’ performance via television, their university president, former teachers, fellow students, and distinguished alum, should have quickly burrowed themselves into a giant-size sinkhole.
In other words, both were an utter embarrassment to the collegiate universe!
How?
Let’s begin with “stupid” Richard….
It’s indisputable that Sherman was instrumental in stealing the game-winning NFC title away from the San Francisco 49’ers. However, unlike sportsmanlike Peyton Manning’s victory speech, Sherman morphed into a menacing diatribe coupled with an unruly rant that did not bode well for the team, black athletes, or the football brand.
Surprisingly, instead of celebratedness, without provocation he vocalized animus and inexplicably became “unplugged” for no justifiable reason.
Needless to say, this image was broadcasted universally and overshadowed the team’s win.
On the other hand, during the national championship game between Auburn and Florida State, although Winston showed much more professionalism and restraint than Sherman, his victory speech was overloaded with a fusion of broken English, Ebonics, and a vernacular unfit for someone who is enrolled into a premier school such as Florida State University.
Yo, dawg. You cray-cray? Actulutely, my mains. Yous wazz a derp on tv, boo!
Needless to say, this image was broadcasted universally, too.
Lordy!
Hey, Richard and Jameis. Will you do our race a favor?
How about enrolling in some continuous improvement courses which specialize in visual appearances, verbal and non-verbal communications, as well as, English. Then, upon satisfactorily completing said courses and only after a demonstration of proficiency, this time please feel free to resurface again but only as polished professionals who are capable to speak with clarity and project a respectable image.
As I said, life has taught me that “stupid boys” are ignorant, obtuse, and grossly deficient in the display of social graces, etiquette, protocol, language, and style.
Pathetically, these two boys perfectly fit that bill!
That’s simply because “stupid is as stupid does.”
