Stevens Construction has completed Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) Winter Park Village, according to Michael Waskiewicz, vice president.
Stevens Construction has completed an interior 37,000-square-foot renovation of an existing building into a new cancer center, which includes an expansive treatment room, PET CT suite, blood draw room, laboratory, pharmacy, research offices, exam rooms, check-out and scheduling area and employee lounge.
FCS incorporates principles of evidence-based design, which have been proven to ease patient anxiety while offering opportunities for privacy or support during treatment.
Located at 460 N. Orlando Ave., Suite 200, Bldg. D, Florida Cancer Specialists is open for business Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.
The Stevens Construction team included Steven Price, project manager; Landon Smith, superintendent and Corrie Cochran, project administrator. Stevens Construction led the design/build project with Heilman Architecture, P.A. and Peninsula Engineering.
