Sinkhole Leads to Collapse of Central Florida Resort

A vacation villa in Central Florida, partially collapsed when a sinkhole opened up overnight, according to news reports.

Summer Bay Resort, the three-story building in Clermont, about 10 miles of Disney World, partially collapsed around 3:00 a.m., on Monday morning.

Officials say, the sinkhole is about 40-50 feet wide and at least 15 feet deep and is in the middle of the building.

Vacationers were quickly evacuated from the building, prior to the collapse and no one was hurt.
