Seniors Slam Sink in new attack ad

American Crossroads on Tuesday, launched a new attack ad against Alex Sink, the Democratic nominee in the upcoming special election in Florida’s 13th District.

Seniors in the ad knock Sink for her management of Florida’s pension fund which they say lost billions when she was the chief financial officer, for cutting jobs when she was a bank executive while she herself collected $8 million, and for using a tax-payer funded plane to take a vacation trip to the Bahamas.

“Alex Sink sure helped herself, but what about us?,” a senior inquires in the ad.

The GOP ad is just the latest in attack ads between Republicans and Democratic groups.  Last week, the Democrats released an ad featuring seniors who attacked Republican David Jolly over Social Security.

Sink, who will face Jolly in a special election on March 11, narrowly lost her gubernatorial bid to Republican Rick Scott, in a campaign that many described as one of the worst run in that year.

Recent polls give Sink a narrow lead over Jolly.
