On Saturday, Bill Segal, a candidate in the race for Orange County Mayor, and State Representative Geraldine Thompson, (D-Orlando) knocked on doors in the Rock Lake neighborhood of Orlando.
The pair knocked on doors and told people about ‘The Segal Jobs Plan’ and initiatives for enhancing public safety, while encouraging them to cast their vote for Segal for Orange County Mayor.
Earlier this month, Thompson, along with several other prominent black legislators in Central Florida–State Senator Gary Siplin, Eatonville Mayor Bruce Mount, Orlando City Commissioners, Sam Ings and Daisy Lynum–formally endorsed Segal.
Along with Segal, there are three other leading candidates in the race for Orange County Mayor, Commissioner Linda Stewart (District 4), former Orange County Commissioner and financial professional Mrs. Teresa Jacobs and business owner Mr. Matthew Falconer.
