Orlando Police say a taxi cab driver was killed early on Friday morning on Lake Highland Drive, off north Orange Avenue.
Investigators responded around 3:15 a.m. to the 500 block of Lake Highland Drive, off north Orange Avenue where they found a deceased taxi driver inside his cab.
The name of the cab driver who was murdered has not yet been released.
While details are sketchy, police have at least two persons in custody who are being interviewed.
Detectives are on the scene, which is being processed.
The investigation is on going.
This is the second taxi cab driver murdered in 10 days.
On January 12, 2011, a Mears Transportation cab driver was gunned down in the Governor Manor Parking lot on L B McCleod Road.
