Gov. Rick Scott is fighting a request not to testify before election day, November 4, in a public records lawsuit.
The AP reports that Scott was slated to give a deposition tomorrow, Friday, over private Google email accounts he set up. A Tallahassee attorney wants information about the accounts that he says the Scott administration used to get around the state’s open records law.
Scott’s attorneys are fighting to keep him from testifying days before the election.
