A Kissimmee man was arrested and charged with attempted murder of his wife’s lover, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Leonardo A. Ramos, 35, of Sky Lake Circle in Kissimmee, was arrested and deputies have charged him with attempted murder, aggravated battery aggravated stalking and armed burglary to a dwelling.
Deputies learned from their investigation that, around 9:40 am on December 6th, Ramos entered a residence on Ashwood Court in Kissimmee through a window, where he discovered his wife with another man. Ramos got into a verbal argument which escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in Ramos stabbed the man in the abdomen. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ramos told deputies he and his wife had been separated for several months, but he suspected she was not at the residence alone. He cooperated with detectives and based on the information, Ramos was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond.
