SBDC Steps Up Support to Central Florida Small Businesses

A new program designed to provide professional consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses is being offered by the University of Central Florida (UCF), Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Called the Growth Acceleration Program (GAP), the program aims to provide intensive consultation services to all industry sectors, utilizing expertise and research resources of SBDC.

According to UCF’s Small Business Development website, the program will provide business consulting in services in several areas, including, strategic business planning, development and implementation; marketing position, product, price, place and promotion; financial analysis and cash flow management.

Business owners are required to meet several criteria in order to qualify for the program.  These are, the company must be in business for three or more years, employ five or more persons, realizing sales of $500,000 to $10 million annually, and seeking to grow and expand operations.

The program is currently accepting client applications.
