After committing a residential burglary, Carlos Matos tried to escape by driving into Orange County Deputy, Richard Pillay, slamming into the patrol car once.
Fortunately, Deputy Pillay wasn’t injured and after a brief chase Matos was apprehended and charged with aggravated assaut on a law enforcement officer and burglary.
It is unknown at this time if Mr. Matos has made bail.
