On June 3rd, the last day of school, Riverdale Elementary will honor all military men and women in their Annual Memorial Day Parade.
Riverdale students, staff, parents and community members will gather for the 11th annual celebration. The popular event is traditionally held on the last day of school.
The parade will also be in celebration of the outstanding work of principal Sylvia Boyd as she retires after 43 years in education. The colorful event always inspires pride and allows students to meet veterans and current service men and women.
