A Minnesota-based pharmacy benefit management company will open a facility in the Orlando area that will create 213 jobs over the next three years, Gov. Rick Scott announced Thursday.
Prime Therapeutics, which is collectively owned by 13 Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans, subsidiaries or affiliates of those plans, made the announcement with Scott in Orlando.
“Today’s move is another strong step in the right direction for Florida and an example of how our state is open for business,” Scott said in a statement.
The company was lured by the state, but officials didn’t release the amount of the incentive package involved.
