President Obama will make a visit to Florida as he takes his first trip outside of Washington since being sworn in last month.
Mr. Obama will travel to Ft. Myers to pitch his economic stimulus package on Tuesday.He plans to hold a town hall meeting on the economy. Tuesday’s event will follow a similar one the President will take part in Monday night in Indiana, and a prime time television address, also scheduled for Monday night.Both town hall meetings are in areas hit by high unemployment.
