A woman walking along train tracks near Main Street was hit and killed by a train Monday morning, Kissimmee police said.
The 49-year-old woman was walking along the train tracks in the area of Main Street and Vine Street.
Police have not released the name of the woman, pending notification of next of kin.
Highway 192 was closed in both directions for several hours between Main Street and Michigan Avenue. Vine Street has since been re-opened.
