A Daytona Beach police officer has left her job after an investigation found nude photos of her on her work computer, as well as sex websites she visited while at work.
Sergeant Penny Dane stored images of herself in pornographic poses while in uniform on her work computer and sent explicit images of herself while on duty, an investigation found.
Dane shared more than 270 explicit images an internal report found and at least 23 were of the sergeant herself, clickorlando.com reported.
Dane, a mother of two children and who served the force for more than 17 years, resigned after the discovery of the images. Â She admitted to sending the photos, according to news reports.
“It’s something in my 26 years in law enforcement that I’ve never seen,” said Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood, clickorlando.com also reported.
