The 8th annual Hope Now Back to School Bash, Florida’s largest back to school charity event, will take place on August 10th at the Florida Citrus Bowl, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Last year, more than 8,000 attended the Hope Now Back to School Bash, and organizers anticipate that the number will increase this year.
Children attending are expected to receive free school backpacks with supplies, including clothing, shoes and other items to outfit them for school.
A health fair and haircuts are also part of the Hope Now Back to School Bash.
Organizers say, funds are still needed to purchase all of the backpacks in which donated supplies will be placed.
