Two suspects are now in custody after confessing to robbing various gas stations throughout Orange County, early on Wednesday morning.
22-year-old Amibelec Ortiz Rivera and 17-year-old Juliette Santiago are now in custody, after a traffic stop was conducted.
Deputies said, between 3:15 a.m. and 4:10 a.m., the pair robbed the following locations at gun point:
– Seven Eleven at 8003 Lake Underhill Road
– Kangaroo Gas Station at 808 North Chickasaw Trail
– Kangaroo Gas Station at 10001 Lake Underhill Road
– Seven Eleven at 10959 East Colonial Drive
Rivera and Santiago were armed and made off with various amounts of currency from each story, investigators said.
Deputies recovered stolen money, a firearm, and clothing matching the description given by store employees, during a traffic stop near the Kangaroo Gas Station located on East Colonial Drive and Old Cheney Highway.
Rivera and Santigo during interviews, confessed to all four robberies, as well as an earlier robbery committed within the City of Orlando.
