Owens Realty Services will unveil Tuesday, its new 8,000-square-foot corporate headquarters to mark the company’s relocation to the City of Orlando.
The company recently purchased the 24,000-square-foot building, located within the I-4 Commerce Center, for $1.8 million and has re-engineered the interior to accommodate additional offices. The remainder of the facility will be leased to third-party tenants. Owens Realty Services has invested another $1 million to complete the building.
Before Owens Realty Services bought the distressed “shell” office building, it sat vacant since its completion in 2007. The well-situated, I-4-friendly property is located in Orange County Enterprise Zone – EZ4801 – an area that is important to economic development, capital investment, job creation and job retention in the local community. The 16.8-square-mile EZ4801 zone includes portions of the City of Orlando, the Town of Eatonville, and unincorporated Orange County.
Currently managing close to $1 billion in real estate net worth, the Owens Realty Services portfolio includes a number of Central Florida properties, including commercial/investment properties, high-rise residential complexes, public and private school systems, college & university campuses, state judicial facilities, government buildings, places of public assembly, and commercial and medical facilities. The company employs approximately 1,000 real estate industry professionals within four states.
