The city of Oviedo held the ground breaking break on its much-anticipated project, Oviedo on the Park, Thursday, on Oviedo Boulevard.
The $200 million project which began development in 2001, but experienced more than a decade of financial delays, is expected to begin construction in the next few weeks, cfnews13.com reported.
The $200 million development will consist of 280 luxury apartments, 160-170 townhouses, a Community Park, and Oviedo in the Park lake, its centerpiece, due to open 2014, cfnews13.com also reported. Construction of the townhouses is slated to begin before end 2013 and the entire project is expected to span a 5-year period.
