Orlando Traffic Stop Leads to Recovery of Five Crime Guns

The Orlando Police Department does not stop when it comes to keeping our city safe, and officers recently initiated a local traffic stop which led to the recovery of five crime guns.

OPD officers who were on the beat patrolling the area of W. Colonial Dr. and Parramore Ave. when they made the traffic stop and found these crime guns:




According to police, the driver of the vehicle also admitted to possessing evidence found in the vehicle that was consistent with the sale and delivery of cannabis along with the weapons.

OPD said both occupants were arrested and charged accordingly.

“Great job to these two officers working to keep the City of Orlando safe,” the Orlando Police Department posted.

With local crime, guns, violence and drugs all remaining problems around Orlando and downtown under Mayor Buddy Dyer, OPD reminds all residents to remember, “See Something, Say Something” by calling Crimeline or 9-1-1.
