The Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Richard Raciak for the April 16th shooting death of his girlfriend of eight years, Allison Sheehan.
According to police, Raciak claimed it was self defense, but he shot Sheehan when her back was to him. He reportedly admitted that she was facing away from him when he shot her and Deputies said Raciak shot her four times.
He was arrested and charged with murder with a firearm in the first degree.
The shooting reportedly happened around 1am off Smithfield Drive.
