Orlando Science students recently celebrated first-place win at national math competition.
20 Orlando Science Schools (OSS) students are now national champions after putting their math skills to the test. The seventh graders earned the highest team score in the country at the Noetic Learning Math Contest this spring.
The nationwide competition challenges mathematicians to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in creative ways.
The group of OSS fifth and sixth graders won Team Achievement Plaques for scoring in the top 10% for their grade level.
Congratulations to the Orlando Science Schools students who are now national champions.
