Orlando Science Schools Student Won Second Place in International Art Contest

An Orlando Science Schools high school student received praise from around the world for her artwork, winning second place in an international art contest.




Samriddhi B. won second place in the American Red Cross’ annual art and essay competition, which tasks students to design a piece around the theme of international law.

The organization recently announced the results after evaluating a record number of submissions. Samriddhi’s piece shows the Earth within a person’s eye to symbolize the importance of government relations in space.

To put this into perspective, the organization says it received a record number of submissions from people all over the world.
