Police are investigating the death of a two-month-old infant who died on Wednesday at the Arnold Palmer Hospital.
According to Orlando Police, patrol units responded on October 5, to 4985 west Colonial Drive in reference to a suspicious incident involving an 8-week-old infant. Police said that the infant, Alfonso Tapia, born on August 10, 2010 was taken to the Arnold Palmer Hospital. Tapia died on Wednesday, October 6.
Police said that the medical examiner has yet to rule on the manner and cause of the infant’s death.
The investigation is ongoing.
