Neighborhood Watch programs and Block Captains across the City of Orlando partner with the Orlando Police Department to keep their neighborhoods crime-free.
During the recent Orlando Crime Prevention Awards Ceremony, several of them were recognized for their invaluable contributions to the city.
OPD and the City thanked and congratulated the following Block Captains from around Orlando:
Block Captain of the Year for District 1 – Baadal Deliwala, Enclave at Village Walk
Block Captain of the Year for District 2 – Iris Rodriguez, Engelwood Park
Block Captain of the Year for District 3 – Carmen Gibson, Rosemont
Block Captain of the Year for District 4 – Joan Teet, Ashbury Park
Block Captain of the Year for District 5 – Denise Ward, Lake Sunset
Block Captain of the Year for District 6 – Jeanette M. Marcus, Richmond Heights
Neighborhood Watch of the Year – Ashbury Park Homeowners Association
