Orlando Murder Count Climbs to 14

Jack Stavry, 64-years old, became the 14th murder victim in Orlando on Monday night.   Stavry was found dead in his Curry Ford Road apartment near Semoran Boulevard. He had worked at a nearby flower shop for 15 years.

One may clue to solving this murder however, might be Stavry missing car, which is no where to be found yet in the parking lot.

“Can’t think of anybody who’d want to hurt him,” said the victim’s employer, Debbie Copeland.

Stavry lived in a relatively quiet condo complex, not necessarily noted for high crime in the area.

“The one thing you know with him deceased, you know where is his car, you know, could it have been stolen,” said Barbara Jones of the Orlando Police Department.

The victim’s car could be the best clue to solving this murder.  It is a brand new 2009 Kia Spectra, with number plate N306GU.

Any one with information is asked to contact the Orlando Police Department immediately.
