AÂ man died early on Sunday when the motor scooter he was riding struck a pole along Waterford Chase Parkway.
The single-vehicle crash occurred just before 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Florida Highway Patrol said, the 28-year-old man, was northbound on Waterford Chase Parkway near Lake Underhill on a 2011 Moti scooter, when he lost control and left the roadway.
The scooter hit a pole and the unnamed Orlando driver was ejected. Troopers said the man was wearing a helmet.
He was transported to Florida Hospital East, where he was pronounced dead. The man’s name has not been released pending notification of family.
Trooper said, the crash remains under investigation.
