Orlando Magic Youth Foundation Raises Over $56,000 at Holiday Broadcast Auction

The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF), in partnership with Sun Sports/FOX Sports Florida, raised $56,625 (with the McCormick Foundation .50 match) at the Second Annual Holiday Broadcast Auction on December 18 during the Magic’s matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers.  The game was broadcast on Sun Sports and all auction proceeds benefited the OMYF.  The OMYF is committed to helping children in Central Florida realize their full potential, especially those most at-risk, by supporting programs and partnerships that empower families and change lives.

The packages bid on included:

Game Day Experience with Exclusive Access to Postgame Press Conference

o    Two courtside tickets to the March 4 game against the Chicago Bulls
o    Postgame press conference with Stan Van Gundy and a behind the scenes guided media tour

BE HISTORIC

o    Two courtside tickets to the January 21 game against the Toronto Raptors
o    One authentic Orlando Magic team bench chair from Amway Arena
o    Jameer Nelson authentic autographed jersey
o    2009-2010 Orlando Magic team autographed basketball

Meet the Magic

o    Four tickets to the Meet the Magic Event on Saturday, February 12, 2011
o    Four seats to the 2011 Black Tie and Tennies Gala at Amway Center on March 19, 2011
o    Two, one-night stays at the Grand Bohemian Hotel on the evening of March 19
