Orlando Magic to Serve Over 800 Meals to Homeless on Thanksgiving

For the 20th year, Orlando Magic staff will serve its annual Thanksgiving breakfast on Thursday, November 22 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. to homeless men, women and children at the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida (639 W. Central Boulevard., Orlando, 32801).  Magic staff in attendance will include Orlando Magic players Jameer Nelson, Glen Davis and Maurice Harkless, Magic Head Coach Jacque Vaughn, Magic CEO Alex Martins, Magic GM Rob Hennigan, Magic Community Ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, STUFF the Magic Mascot and the Magic Dancers.  Magic Head Coach Jacque Vaughn will sponsor the meals for over 800 Coalition residents.  Following the breakfast the Magic will also host a carnival for the families and residents from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

WHAT: Orlando Magic Host Coalition for the Homeless Thanksgiving Breakfast

Orlando Magic staff and volunteers will serve Thanksgiving breakfast to more than 800 homeless men, women and children at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.

This 20th annual tradition includes an open breakfast for Coalition residents and any members of the community who don’t have the means to celebrate Thanksgiving. The Magic will also host a special carnival for children, immediately following breakfast, at the Coalition’s main campus. Festivities include a guest appearance by Air STUFF and the Magic Dancers, the Fanbulance, face painting, and music by Power 95.3. Adults and children are treated to haircuts by Paul Mitchell The School.
