Orlando Int’l ranks fourth best airport, Study says

Orlando International Airport Atrium

Orlando International Airport (MCO) was ranked the fourth best airport in the United States, according to a newly-released study.  The 2010 J.D. Power and Associates North American Airport Satisfaction Study ranked MCO just five points behind the number one airport, Detroit Metropolitan and just one point behind Denver International and Minneapolis/St. Paul International, which tied for second.

The rankings are based on a number of criteria including: airport accessibility; baggage claim; check-in/ baggage check processing; terminal facilities; security checkpoints; and food and retail services, all of which are areas MCO received above average scores.

In 2008 MCO ranked third after ranking 14th in 2006.
