Orlando Cops Identify Attempted Murder Suspect in Jail on Unrelated Charges

A man who Orlando police say was responsible for stabbing another man after the two argued at the Comfort Suites motel more than one week ago has been located.

Earl M. Keller

Police said, Earl Milton Keller, 58, who is in the Orange County Jail on unrelated charges, was arrested and charged with attempted felony murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, carjacking, battery and petit theft from a taxi driver.

Investigators learned that Keller hired the victim, Bruce T. Tooker on March 15, to drive him to Daytona Beach and back.

Keller attacked Tooker with a butcher-style knife upon their return to the Comfort Suites motel, slashing him multiple times.  Keller fled the motel in Tooker’s 2002 Black Lincoln Towncar.

Police identified Keller as the suspect in this crime on March 21. The victim’s vehicle has still not been found.
