Orlando Band, Savannah, announces fundraising campaign

Savannah has begun a fundraising campaign that will not only aid with the production of their new music but also benefit children currently spending time at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The Orlando-based quartet is teaming up with international crowdfunding platform IndieGoGo with a fundraising goal of $12,000. All donators are awarded with “perks,” or campaign-related prizes for contributors.

The biggest perk for donators is to support Savannah’s wish to commit to 60 hours of time with children at the Arnold Palmer Hospital. “Music will be a big part of our time at the Hospital,” said James Major, the band’s lead singer. “It’s vital for our music to touch people in a positive and moving way, but it’s equally important for us to reach out and really make a difference in people’s lives.”

The band will also allocate a portion of the donations toward the recording, mixing and mastering of their new album.
