Orange County Supervisor of Elections Karen Castor Dentel issued new voter information card because her office completed the redistricting and re-precincting of the county.
Every active registered voter in Orange County will receive a new Voter Information Card to ensure the most accurate information before any upcoming Central Florida elections, according to the SOE.
Cards were being mailed in batches of approximately 200,000 each week until all voters have received the new voter information card. Many voters likely received it already, as cards were mailed in phases over several weeks throughout February and March 2026.
The Voter Information Card is for information purposes only, and voters do not need to bring the card with them to vote. The card includes:
- name and address
- precinct number
- assigned polling location
- district information (Congressional, State, County Commission, City, School Board)
- party affiliation
- voter registration number
Florida law requires Supervisor of Elections offices to provide voters with updated registration and precinct information, especially when changes occur due to redistricting or re-precincting. The voter information card is required to be provided by law to inform voters of polling location, district information, and to provide an opportunity to verify registration information is correct. Voters should review it carefully and make sure the name is spelled correctly, the address is correct, and the party affiliation is accurate.
Local voting locations may have changed where to vote on Election Day due to re-precincting, so voters should take note of the polling place listed, the SOE stated. Polling places can change because ofr edistricting/re-precinting, facility availability, population shifts, or accessibility improvements. The new Voter Information Card reflects the correct, current polling location.
Voters must update voter registration whenever an address changes, a name changes, or a party affiliation changes. You can update your voter registration information with the Orange County Supervisor of Elections office online or by calling 407-836-2070.
