Safe Havens International, Inc., a leading non-profit campus safety center, will conduct a comprehensive security risk and vulnerability assessment of all schools in the District of Orange County.
On Tuesday, the School Board announced it had awarded a contract to the company, not to exceed $974,987.
Safe Havens will review existing physical and technical security design criteria and recommend standards to be used in all new construction and facility-remodeling projects. The company will also develop a standard security risk and vulnerability assessment tool that the District will use to conduct future school-based reviews.
District staff can now begin negotiating for services.
