An Orange County School Crossing Guard has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of child pornography.
Dominick Barbieri was taken into custody after a search of his personal computer revealed downloaded pornographic images of children, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Barbieri, who has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since November 2006, was charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography.
A brief statement from OCSO said Barbieri was terminated on April 17, 2013. Â It is unclear when Barbieri was arrested.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Professional Standards Section will undertake an internal investigation, the statement also said.Â
