Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs presents “The Collection of Jordan Jones, also known as JJ the Artist” sponsored by the Black History Committee of Orange County for this year’s Juneteenth Celebration.
Jordan Jones’ artistic style is rooted in realism and is primarily executed on canvas using acrylic mediums. His work explores a wide range of subjects that capture his interest, including professional athletes, musicians, animals, and characters from cartoons, video games, and anime.
Art has been a significant and rewarding pursuit for JJ from childhood through his college years. In line with his passion, he changed his major from Mathematics Education and graduated in 2012 from UCONN with a B.A. in Fine Arts. Following his graduation, he gained experience working with various youth programs—another area he is passionate about—as well as holding multiple graphic design positions.
Over time, he has developed into a self-sufficient artist. He appreciates all the individuals who commission his work and support his artistic endeavors.
