Shots rang out early on Saturday morning downtown Orlando, resulting in one man being killed and another injured, police said.
Police arrived in the 1000 block of W. Washington Street around 3:30 a.m.,where they found one man dead at the scene. Another man was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center where he underwent surgery.
Police believe that the initial shooting took place in the 1000 block of Polk Street.
The identity of the deceased has not been released and no indication of the connection, if any, between the two men has been revealed.
The investigation is an active one, police said.
