OCPS traditional high schools continue to outperform state graduation rate, with twenty-one traditional high schools earning a graduation rate over 90 percent.
The graduation rate of all Orange County Public Schools, which includes both traditional and charter schools, is 89.3%, a 0.2 percentage point increase from the 2022-23 graduation rate, but below the Florida state average.
The district’s average graduation rate among its 22 traditional high schools is 96.0%, which continues to outpace the state’s 89.7% average.
“I am incredibly proud of our graduates. These scores are a testament to the hard work and collaboration of our teachers, students, administrators and families. The continued increase validates the district’s vision of leading students to success,” Superintendent Maria Vazquez said. “We will always strive to improve our graduation rates as we prepare our more than 207,000 students for college and career.”
