Orange County Mayor-elect Teresa Jacobs along with Commissioner Fred Brummer, Commissioner-elect Jennifer Thompson, Commissioner-elect Ted Edwards and Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell will take their oaths of office in a ceremony at the Orange County Convention Center.
The event will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the Linda W. Chapin Theater, located inside the Convention Center’s West Building on International Drive.
The new Board of County Commissioners will hold its first meeting Tuesday afternoon beginning at 1:30 p.m. in BCC Chambers, 1st Floor, Orange County Administration Center, 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, FL.
The ceremony and the afternoon board meeting will be carried live on Orange TV (check local cable listings) and streamed live at www.OrangeTV.us
