As pressure builds on immigration agents to increase the number of foreign national arrests to meet higher deportation quotas, more and more Hispanics are being targeted in the belief that they are more likely to be foreign nationals than non-Hispanics.
Recently, a Miami-Dade man who is also a U.S. citizen was detained by immigration officials who stopped him as he was riding his bike. Christopher Zambrano said he was stopped by men in black clothing in an SUV and asked for his papers, as he biked home on the 79th Street Causeway near North Bay Village.
